The indoor mouth protection requirement has been lifted

After 700 days with a mandatory oral protection requirement indoors, the requirement has now been removed in most places in Spain, but there are exceptions.

The decision was taken by the Council of Ministers and it has today been published in the public publication BOE on 20 April, and the amendment thus enters into force with immediate effect.

Exceptions that still require oral protection:

* Public transport, including taxis and VTC such as. Uber (but not on stations and platforms).

* Medical centers and similar activities.

* Hospitals (except for those who are hospitalized).

* Blood centers

* Pharmacy

* Retirement homes (not for the residents but only for staff and visitors).
