The mouth guard remains until the spring

Spanish Minister of Health Carolina Darias warns that the ban on mouth protection in public places and also at outdoor gatherings will continue for some time into next year. As more and more areas in Spain lift the remaining collection restrictions, oral protection will soon be the only remaining injunction due to the pandemic.

It also looks like the population will have to get used to it for a few more months. Darias emphasizes that even though the infection situation has significantly improved, the pandemic is not over yet. She points out that about four million of the population over the age of twelve have not yet been vaccinated, as have all children under the age of 12 who are not yet vaccinated. In addition, we are approaching the season for seasonal flu and the Minister of Health believes that it is advisable to maintain the oral protection requirement, as it has contributed to almost eradicating the flu wave this spring.
